DUBAI: Al Hallab, one of Dubai’s most beloved Lebanese dining destinations, is set to reveal a striking new branch inside Mall of the Emirates this July.

The updated location, situated on Level 2 near VOX Cinemas, will offer guests a refreshed experience that blends traditional Lebanese hospitality with contemporary design.

Known for its warm service, authentic flavours, and rich culinary heritage, Al Hallab’s new branch promises an elevated dining environment while staying true to its roots. The existing branch on Level 1 will remain open throughout the transition, allowing loyal diners uninterrupted access to their favourite dishes until the new location launches in mid-July.

Modern Lebanese design

The new space, created by MK Design, is a harmonious blend of modern finishes and heritage elements. A larger floor plan includes an elegant indoor terrace, an open kitchen, and expanded greenery. Eye-catching colourful tiles, a signature of the brand’s visual identity, will accompany a larger sweets display – a nod to Al Hallab’s beginnings as a pâtisserie.

Central to the new interior is the Phoenician Flower, a cultural emblem woven into the décor, alongside evocative imagery celebrating Lebanon’s landscapes and legacy. The design aims to create an inviting space where diners can feel immersed in both the history and modern evolution of Lebanese cuisine.

Legacy and heritage

Founded in 1881 in Tripoli, Lebanon, Al Hallab began as a humble family-run bakeshop. It soon became a favourite among Lebanon’s elite, artists, and families, known for handcrafted sweets and heartfelt hospitality. In Dubai, Ghassan Al Hallab has continued that tradition, expanding the brand into a full-service restaurant with four locations.

The new Mall of the Emirates branch will accommodate up to 180 guests and is designed to cater to a variety of occasions – from relaxed lunches and family dinners to quick visits to the sweets counter.

Culinary experience in Dubai

Al Hallab’s Dubai presence includes branches in Garhoud, Dubai Mall, and Mall of the Emirates, each offering a comprehensive Lebanese grill experience. The brand also operates Al Hallab Bab El Bahr at Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, specialising in Mediterranean seafood dishes.
